Machine Operator

Welding Department

Mon-Thurs: 5am-2:30pm
Fri: 5am-9am

Turtle Top is looking for a machine operator. Must be willing and able to operate and maintain a HEM CNC Industrial Bandsaw and a YLM CNC66 Tube bender. The operator is responsible for taking raw material and cutting, bending and banding inventory to support the weld shop production line. Candidates must be self driven, have impeccable attention to detail and attendance and be willing to assist in the weld shop where needed. Position includes training with the current operator. Weekly BONUS pay available.

Purchasing Agent

Purchasing Department

Mon-Fri: 7am - 4pm

We are currently seeking to employ an entry level position in our Purchasing Department that will assist our current Purchasing Agents and learn our overall processes and procedures. Duties/Responsibilities: Purchases goods and services according to the company's policies and procedures. Coordinates with managers to maintain inventory levels. Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history. Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs or related software – preferred but not required. Works well in a small Team environment
Education and Experience: High School Diploma. At least two years of purchasing experience - preferred but not required.

Foundry

Mon-Thurs: 5am-3:30pm

Independent Protection Company is a manufacturer of lightning protection materials located in Goshen, Indiana. We are looking for an individual with a good work ethic and good attendance to work within our production facility. This position is full time. Qualifications: Ability to lift 75+ pounds on a daily basis. Able to work within a Team environment. Responsibilities: Include many different tasks to make products from metal. These include preparing molds, operating, and finishing work.

Quality Assurance Inspector

Production/Quality Department

Mon-Thurs: 5am-2:30pm
Fri: 5am-9am



The Quality Department makes sure that all products that leave our facility are built to Turtle Top's exacting quality standards. To be considered for the position of Quality Assurance Inspector, a candidate MUST be a team player and willing to help in any capacity asked, be willing to cross-train (“Not my job” attitudes need not inquire), be willing to work with Plant Managers and other QC’s to ensure product quality, be self-motivated and work well without constant supervision, be able to prove attendance history and have a good reference.

Required skills include lifting up to 25lbs. on a regular basis, the ability to use and read a tape measure, mobility to get under vehicles and on top of them, and a basic understanding of how a commercial bus is constructed. Other helpful skills include an understanding of or willingness to learn basic computer skills and how to read and understand work orders, basic measurements and drawings, and a willingness to attend meetings and communicate verbally with other team members. **Weekly BONUS PAY available.

Production Worker

Shelling Department

Mon-Thurs: 5am-3pm
Fri: 5am-9am

The Shelling Department is responsible for building roofs, building sidewalls, wiring the chassis and setting sidewalls. Qualifications for a Production Worker include using hand tools, reading a tape measure, and using a table saw. Not be allergic to fiberglass dust and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. **Weekly BONUS PAY available

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools. Use multiple welding machines to repair and main metal equipment. Understand and implement personal and company safety measures by wearing specialized goggles, helmets and gloves. Work well in a fast-paced team environment. **Weekly BONUS PAY available
