Turtle Top announces another Freightliner-based model to replace the loss of the Chevrolet GMT560 C5500. Turtle Top has been building on the Freightliner FM2 31,000# GVW Odyssey XLT for the last year and has just completed production of the Odyssey XL model on the 26000# GVW Freightliner with lower profile tires and lower horsepower engine. The chassis differences lowers the price of the chassis, the cab and the overall model height. These changes make it the same size as the GMT560 with greater maneuverability, reliability, and air ride, coupled with the durability of Turtle Top and Freightliner.
